Alpine cheese dairy at the Postalm

For several centuries, the Schnitzhofer family has been farming on the Schnitzhofalm mountain hut, which lies in the beautiful pastures of the Postalm plateau – a hiker's paradise and a popular place for lovers of mountaineering and via ferratas. At the Schnitzhofalm we run our Schnitzhof Almkäserei alpine dairy where we make, serve and sell our mountain Almkäse cheese.
